Year 3 children to Great Bookham School

Whether you already attend the school or whether you are joining us from a different school, you can be certain to receive a warm welcome from our Lower Junior Team.  We recognise that it is a big step to move from Key Stage One into Key Stage Two and an even bigger step to move school. To help facilitate a smooth and seamless transition for our new Year 3 intake, we arrange handover meetings with each child’s previous school so that we can get to know your child and how best to support them from their very first day and children are invited in for several taster sessions to meet their new classmates, staff and familiarise themselves with the school.

In September when your child joins us there will be a parent meeting for us to share information about the year ahead.
