About Us
Great Bookham School
We are delighted that you have taken time to show an interest in our school and that you are considering our school for your child.
We understand that for every parent, choosing the right school for your child is an important decision.
We are proud of our school, and think it is the best place to start school in Reception or for those who join us in Key Stage 2. We believe that our forward thinking, inclusive curriculum provides the environment for all pupils to build on their strengths to thrive. We ensure our pupils are given the opportunities to reach their full potential; academically, creatively, emotionally and socially.
Please call the school office to arrange a visit to our school; we are open every day.

How we are organised
Leadership team
The school leadership team consists of a Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher. Together we deliver the school development plan to ensure the strategic, operational and managerial aspects of leading an effective school are carried out on a day to day basis.
The work of the school leadership team is overseen by the school's governing body.
Teaching team
The school is organised into two phases - Infants and Juniors. Each one led by a Phase Leader, who monitors the teaching and learning in their phase.
Our school is small and nurturing; we pride ourselves on each member of staff knowing every child’s name. We have one class entry of maximum of 30 pupils at Reception (EYFS) and currently have the capacity to admit an extra 30 children at the beginning of the Juniors (Year 3).
