School Council
School council members are elected from each class at the beginning of the school year. The school council meets half termly to discuss issues and suggestions to better school life and /or the lives of others. The councillors then take these back to their classes and gain the pupil voice in their class assemblies. These ideas and suggestions are then discussed with other school council members at the next meeting and actioned accordingly.
Upper-phase councillors meet with other local schools for Confederation Council once a term.
The school council also raises money for charities and for the school through their organisation of events.
Councillors take on the roles of Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer to give them the opportunity to learn about democracy.
